Bachelor of Fine Arts Programs
ANIMATION
The field of animation merges the arts of acting, design, illustration, sculpture, and filmmaking with today’s technology.
ART EDUCATION
As a student in the Art Education Program, you’ll get on-the-ground teaching experience that gives you the opportunity to develop real-world skills that set you up for success in the classroom
GAME ART
You’ll learn to build engaging narratives through courses that include character + level design, animated storytelling, and motion studies.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Graphic design is the marriage of form, function, and imagination to create a visual language.
FASHION DESIGN
You’ll learn the techniques necessary to create innovative designs, from one-of-a-kind pieces, small lot development, and mass production projects.
MUSIC PRODUCTION
This program is designed to help you build a strong, relevant portfolio that demonstrates your mastery of musical knowledge, technology skills and business principles.
FINE ARTS
You’ll explore a variety of medias from painting, sculpture, and photography, to video art and ceramics. Students are taught to focus on the development of artistic theories to gain a fundamental understanding of the broader concepts in the world of art.
ILLUSTRATION
The illustration program at RMCAD allows you to establish strong traditional drawing and painting skills, which gives students the ability to create imaginative and observational work.
ILLUSTRATIVE DESIGN
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustrative Design provides students with a hybrid degree combining the skills you learn in Illustration with the approach to design thinking you learn in Graphic Design.
INTERIOR DESIGN
By taking an interdisciplinary approach that draws from art, architecture, environmental design, graphic design, and industrial design, the program provides a comprehensive education and prepares you to enter your field.
PHOTOGRAPHY
As a Photography student at RMCAD, you’ll be immersed in the conceptual, practical, and aesthetic aspects of commercial photography while learning the important technical, ethical, and professional skills necessary to succeed as a working photographer.
