Program Highlights
Curriculum begins by establishing strong traditional drawing and painting skills, which gives students the ability to create imaginative and observational work. Students then apply these mastered foundational skills to tell stories in their own way, often incorporating creative software platforms to communicate their ideas to a global, diverse array of clients. Through optional emphases in children’s book illustration, concept art, and sequential art, RMCAD illustration students can personalize their education and focus on their passion.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustrative Design provides students with a hybrid degree combining curriculum from both Graphic Design and Illustration. What is Illustrative Design?
